Santa Claus is coming to town
Aww... isn't she cute? Isn't this a wonderful overpriced picture of her with a man we do not know? I remember the days of the off-color polaroids when I was a kid, but now it's all digital and you can buy a full school-picture style portrait package and it costs no less than $14 to get any kind of print or CD! Okay, sure, you can just have your kid meet Santa with no picture, but then he might be a tad surly, and no one wants that. So instead, we opted for the Web- and e-mail-friendly version, with the "promise" not to print it out at home :)
Thankfully, at 3, Abigail is not yet caught up in the uber-materialism of Christmas. Santa is bringing her presents, she knows, but she also doesn't have a mile-long list she's expecting. (The benefits of watching only PBS) What does she want? A penguin. And no, she hasn't seen "March of the Penguins." Don't quite know where she got that from, and heck if I can find a stuffed penguin anywhere but on the Net, but I'll take it.
And now, for good measure, a few family shots. (It's so helpful to know photojournalists and not have to depend on Sears ...) These are from Thanksgiving weekend.

At least you got a decent Santa for it. That appears to be a real beard he is sporting.

She is quite adorable!
I've seen lots of penguins up here in Mary Land lately, although I can't think of what stores.
Definitely going the all-PBS route with our youngins, when and if we have them. Good choice!
I hope you, Brad and Abby have a great Christmas.
Ahh, Santa Claus! It's an adorable picture. I love her little dress...very cute. Hard to believe how grown up she looks in that strange man's lap, eh?
I hope you guys have a wonderful holiday--we missed you at our girl's night. :( We are planning another though, and plan to kidnap and take you with us, if necessary. :)
