Okay, so since people insist on remembering, my Jeopardy appearance is this Thursday. There's even a video clip of me online, though it makes me squirm to see myself -- I talk too fast! My head is really big! Why didn't I smile?!
I also received my fabulous commemorative picture with Alex last week. Okay picture, though he looks kinda like a cutout and it was printed off a computer. And no, I didn't really get to talk to him. There's all kinds of legal stuff around that dating back to the big quiz show scandals of the 50s. He just sort of snuck up behind me, said "Come back out and show 'em no mercy," smiled for the picture, and moved on to the next contestant.
And by the way, my sister obviously won't be able to see this. Can someone tape it for me? I don't have the official remote for our VCR, so I can't set it to the right channel to tape. Thanks!

Oooo. I've got to set my system to record that. I'll see if I can get a copy for you, but having multiple people copying always helps. Well that and my copy would be a computer file, which may be better or worse.
Oooh, glad I finally remembered your blog link! Got to watch that on Thursday!

Okay, I think I am hardly showing favourtism to say you are the best loking contestant on the page. Sadly I can't see the video clip. Some bright spark in American television recently realised us evil aliens could watch their tv clips on the internet and decided any computer with a non-American IP address could hear the audio, but would only get a green screen. I need my brilliant hubby to show me how to mask my country of origin so I can see it.
Luck Bob, I can use computer clips on the computer (they don't block those) and I can also watch good old fashioned VHS tapes (even American ones).

Hrmmmmm, I'm definitely using a UK IP addy and I can see the video clip just fine. Maybe Mrs Dunce has been blocked as a possible threat to USA security.
We should have it waiting on our "Tivo" computer when we get home. I'll let you know...
