"I'm not dead yet!"

Now to make sure John Cleese doesn't come out and thump them over the head with his club ...

Jump lives! Well, they're at least doing a few more shows this fall, including an accoustic show in Charlotte. This makes me very happy! I didn't want the era to end with a less-than-memorable show. And they're excellent accoustic.

One of the perks of going part time will be weeknight freedom. When I found that show, I cruised through the rest of the schedule at the Neighborhood Theatre and became very excited about many of the bands/performers -- and I realized that I could theoretically go to these concerts without completely rescheduling my life! Of course, The Avett Bros. are playing New Year's Eve, and I'm not sure I could realistically call our Christmas trip to Florida short just to come back in time for that. And the only thing on Thanksgiving weekend at this apparent bluegrass inspired hot-spot? Edwin McCain. Doubt that would excite my visiting sister or her Dunce very much.

You never know what your sister and her Dunce will like... and you might be horrified...

I already know her shameful love of John Mellencamp ... :)

Hey, "Pink Houses" is a quality song. Sadly I think we planned things the wrong way around this time. I would have loved to have seen Jump at least once in my life. Every time I click on the NYT Magazine section a little snippet of "Magazine" comes in my head. And when the Sunce finds out Doc Watson is playing on the 3rd, there may be trouble.

Opps, that was "Dunce", not "Sunce". I haven't had my coffee yet this morning.

The Sunce has seen Doc Watson; he puts on a good show but I will not be crying too much about missing it.

We will also be missing the Reverend Horton Heat in Indianapolis (he plays just after we leave there), I'm sure Mrs. Sunce's eardrums will be thankful.

I haven't had coffee yet either.

P.S. We should arrange our next visit to coincide with an Avett Bros show. Those guys are great!
