I've been quiet lately, sorry, but this is my crazy July. I just got back from a few days in Myrtle Beach, with all the interesting people watching and miniature golf that entails. Today is my laundry marathon day, and then tomorrow we leave for the N.C. mountains.
I am so excited about this trip. It'll be my own version of "Dirty Dancing" -- minus the Patrick Swayze and the botched medical procedures and, well, dancing. We're going to High Hampton Inn near Cashiers, complete with mountain trails on the property, a lake, paddle boats, golf, tennis, a spa and just about anything else you can imagine. And best of all, it's a working trip for Brad, so we won't have to pick up (much) of the tab! Woo-hoo! I really hope there's a big sing-along where I can show off my knowledge of the Kellerman's song. And I was a pro at the fancy lift Johnny and Baby do at the end of the movie (underwater at the pool with my friend when we were 10), maybe I can convince Brad to give it a try ...

Man, I never knew you were that into Dirty Dancing, H. Wow. What other secrets will you reveal?!
I hope you have a fabulous time in the mountains...
Okay, I was that into it from 10 to 12. Don't think I've seen it since. C'mon, it was the 80s!
