Eeek, I've got an audition for Jeopardy! I took the online test months ago and just got an e-mail about auditions in Atlanta on Oct. 12. Now, you have to take a 50 question test, and if you pass, then take a mock test and have a interview. Even if you pass, you aren't guaranteed a spot on the show. I have two days to RSVP, so I need a poll: Should I truck on down even though the odds aren't great? I have watched Jeopardy! for years, have always known tons of the questions, have been told by many people I should try to get on. I'm no Ken Jennings, but whaddya think?
And what would I WEAR?!

Travel, mountain cabin, summer cottage in southern France...
Go for it! I'll start working on my French...
Of course you should go for it... why not?! I think you should wear a cardigan and ankle length skirt. Hee.
Although I don't have a suggestion as to what you should wear, I say "Do it!"
You must do this. At the very least you would have a trip to Atlanta or maybe even Cal. Too bad you don't have a lifeline, cause Elm would be there for you.
Yes, you must, absolutely must, go to the tryout. It's not like you won't have someplace to stay in Atlanta... I suggest not wearing anything at all. That's sure to make them remember you.
Wear something very professional. They always look stuffy on the show. Or wear a clemson shirt!
You need to do this. One of you "deposits of useless trivia" needs to make a profit from it!
Maybe A's baby will have arrived by then and you can visit our newest elmstreetette. It won't be a wasted trip.
Am i too late to weigh in?
A woman i used to work with got on jepordy, and she's convinced the reason why was because she had a good "story." Story as in what she does, which she was the "live wire" columnist in Fayetteville, which meant she answered weird questions that people would send in. Frequently, they were local, like "where can i find the guy who gives bikes away for Christmas, so i can donate to him?" but they would also be really odd like, "Settle a bet for me and some friends about who was the first person to get a No. 1 Billboard song?" or stuff like that. On the show, I'm sad to say, she did really badly because she couldn't master the button. :(
But have a good story. ;) And wear something cute!
