A pox on money grubbers!
I must say a hearty BAH HUMBUG! to the jerks who buy out all the hot Christmas toys and the jack up the prices on eBay. I just now realized that the digital camera we were wanting to get Abigail is one of these hot toys. And of course, I can't just buy it somewhere. So rather than $55 from a retailer, the cheapest I've seen is at least $80 plus shipping. Grrr. And there are probably thousands of the damn things on eBay, with at least a dozen parents battling it out per camera. I don't enjoy spending my time pouring over store ads and I certainly don't get up before the crack of dawn on Black Friday. I should be able to buy my Christmas presents in December from a store. BAH!

If it makes you feel any better, when it gets to be Easter, there'll be scads of the things, probably cheap on ebay and definitely in the stores, and you'll have more money for candy for the little angel. And so you don't have it for four months. Humbug on the jerks and I hope they break on them. Hurrumph is right.
Oh yeah, I've definitely forwarded this idea to the Easter Bunny. Unfortunately, all the other gift ideas were long ago given to Santa and relatives, so rather than plan B, I've got to come up with plan Q.
We've been on mad quests for toys before... but honestly, she's so little that it won't matter. Hope you find a good substitute!
